These are the nice guys at the reception at my hotel in Salvador. I asked them to pose with the thumbs up sign because they--like many people in Brazil--were always telling me things were "o.k.", all right, fine with their thumbs up. Using a smile and this gesture with Brazilians, since most of them don't speak foreign languages, worked wonders.
